Cliff Maynard creates wonderful art out of old "roaches' - the butts of marijuana cigarettes. Using the little pieces of paper as collage, he builds mosiac faces - layering the brown and tan to create the depth and image.

Beautifully apt for most his subject matters, they probably did (or do) their fair share of pot smoking. Recycled and vintage in their sepia appearance, they are beautifully done portraits.
